A sling that solves the problem of how to hang your speaker after the carabiner's silicone attachment breaks. I have two of these speakers, and they both broke the exact same way!
MATERIALS
• Cotton yarn, medium/worsted weight
• 4.5 mm crochet hook
• Stitch markers
NOTE: Ch-3 at beg of a rnd counts as a dc.
RND 1 Ch 28, PM on 1st ch, 7th ch, 14th ch, and 21st ch, sl st join to 1st ch. [28]
RND 2 Ch 3, dc in first MS [result is a dc-inc], PM, dc around to next MS, dc-inc, PM, dc around to next MS, dc-inc, PM, dc around to last MS [the last ch], dc-inc, PM, sl st join to top of 1st dc. [32]
RND 3 Ch 3, dc around except dc-dec over every 4th-5th st. [26]
RND 4 (Ch 2, dc-dec) over 1st 2 sts, dc-dec around. [13]
RND 5 Sl st around. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
HANGING LOOP (optional; you could just use the original or similar carabiner)
Fit cozy onto speaker. At top where there's a short row of dc, sc-join yarn around post of 2nd dc from end, ch 10, 2 sc around post of dc 2nd from opposite end, turn, 10 sc around string of chs, sc around starting post. Fasten off, weave in ends.
