Belt Pouch for Water Bottle or Umbrella

Here's a pouch for keeping your water or umbrella handy at an outdoor event. I use mine at the renaissance faire.

Pattern is written in US terms.

  18. Cut yarn leaving long tail for sewing. Thread tail onto tapestry needle, fold strap over about 2 1/2 inches (or as will accommodate belt), and sew to make belt loop. Alternatively, if you don't want the loop size to be permanent, make a few inches of chain to thread through stitches and make a bow. Weave in ends.
